The Kitsap Amateur Radio Service (KARS) and Kitsap Emergency Management are sponsoring a Basic certification course.  The course fee is $35 with the workbook or $15 without the workbook.  ACES Basic Student Workbooks can also be purchased directly from Amazon.  ICS 100, 200 and 700 are required prior to certification.  You may take the course if you haven't completed the FEMA courses and you will receive your ACES certificate after completing the FEMA courses.  Students are required to bring a radio and manual for programming practice and passing traffic.  Pre-registration is required.  Contact Scott N7SS at scott.n7ss@gmail.com with questions of for more information.
