Lincoln County ACS is sponsoring a BASIC course with the updated Oregon ACES materials.  The course fee is $35 and includes the student workbook.  ICS 100, 200 and 700 are required prior to certification.  You may take the course if you haven't completed the FEMA courses and you will receive your ACES certificate after completing the FEMA courses.  Students are required to bring a radio and manual for programming practice and passing traffic.  Pre-registration is required.  Contact Daron Wilson N7HQR n7hqr@oregonaces.org with questions or for more information.  Lincoln County ACS members will have their class fee paid by Lincoln County Emergency Management. The course is held at the Samaritan Center for Health Education, 740 SW 9th Street, Newport Oregon.
